The growing practice of sourcing knowledge from the internet creates new challenges for ICT, including the problem of inhomogenous data formats of the sources of knowledge and the fact that it is not possible to maintain consistency of the collective information. The project aims to develop practical methods to adequately deal with such inconsistent information. Applications include medical data processing where clinical data are to be combined with medical knowledge while giving due regard to inconsistent data.
