The calls of WWTF take place in specific topics. They are created with a long term perspective with the goal to foster research in Vienna and to position Vienna as top research location on an international level.

The creation of a new topic takes place after a detailed search as well as a extensive consultation process.

The Viennese research community is invited through calls to apply in these specific topics for larger projects, project groups or smaller funding (e.g. summer schools).
