The PIs will present the results of the 15 projects funded in the 2011 "Linking Research and Patients' Needs" and 2012 "Food and Nutrition" Life Sciences Calls.
Former members of both evaluation panels (Hannelore Daniel, Paul Matthews, Daniel Peeper, Lars Poulsen) will be present as discussants.
The projects dealt with the call-specific topis in various ways. The subject areas covers range from sociomedical insights regarding the frailty of elderly to quick testing for early diagnosis of breast cancer to pioneering advancements in therapeutic approaches in paraplegia.
Thomas Czypionka, group leader in Health Economics at the Institute for Advanced Studies Vienna, will give a keynote lecture.
