The Vienna Science and Technology Fund Life Sciences 2022 Call “Public Health” opened on the 28th of October 2021. This call is open to researchers at universities and non-university research institutions, who seek to conduct a cutting-edge interdisciplinary research projects (2 to 4 years) to explore and develop innovative methods and tools to improve health at a population level.

In order to respond quickly to the challenges of the crisis and collect research-relevant data in a timely manner, the WWTF launched the "COVID-19 Rapid Response grant" in just one week, endowed with funds from the private non-profit WWTF and two private stakeholders, including the MEGA Education Foundation.
