The six-member Board of Directors is the decision-making body of WWTF. The main tasks of the Board of Directors are to define the overall strategy, to lay down the funding guidelines, to adopt thematic programmes, to decide on approval of applications for funding and to settle important organisational matters.

Advisory Board

Erich Hampel
Chairman of the Advisory Board

The Chairman of the Advisory Board mainly comprises advising the Board of Directors on relevant issues and ensuring quality of the process of reviewing all applications by external experts.

From the very beginning of WWTF until April 2019, Dr. Thomas Oliva was Chairman of the WWTF Advisory Board. He contributed enormously to the success of WWTF and we are grateful to all the effort and energy he put into his task as a Chairman.
